WELCOME TO ALKEBWORLD

Geography and territorial organization

Located in the far east of the Alkeb Kingdom, Órelota is a major island territory, composed of six continental regions, a landlocked overseas region at Kagatonde, as well as four tribes :

  • Sãnalota : Economic capital of the territory,

  • Onansãlota : Administrative capital and cultural center of Órelota,

  • Ansãsiwa : Southern island serving as the main maritime crossroads and airdrop point for the entire kingdom.

  • Kemnel : Forest region crossed by the largest river in the territory,

    • The Howling Islands : Although this archipelago is semi-independent, it is still attached to Órelota,

  • Onansaān : Region geographically divided by a mountain range,

  • Kemnilge : Mountainous area,

  • Jansãlota : Enclave located in Kagatonde, formerly used as a prison, now integrated into the territory's economy.

Demographics and languages

The population of Órelota is estimated at around 18 million inhabitants, distributed as follows:

  • About 4,350,000 Sanāns

  • 2,200,000 half-elves

  • 655,000 Moon Elves

  • 4,960,000 humans

  • 5,800,000 mixed bloods

The official or commonly spoken languages are English , Orelotarian , and Southern Alkebian .

Clans and governance

The territory is governed by a clan system comprising six governing clans , each administering a region. At the head of the kingdom's government is the Guide, YĀME, who is second in rank in importance only to the king. The Guide's palace is located in the administrative capital in the north of the country at Onansãlota.

Climate and environment

Órelota enjoys a humid tropical microclimate throughout the western part of the territory , with almost constant rainfall and often overcast skies. This particular climate contributes to the purple and reddish color of its vegetation, especially visible during the heavy rainy season, hence its nickname: "the purple island" .

Transport

As in most of the territories of the Alkeb Kingdom except Kagatonde, the use of personal motorized vehicles is non-existent. The common means of transport are:

  • The bicycle , very widespread in cities.

  • The train , with several national lines crossing the territory.

  • Flying boats, the most used and appreciated mode of inter-island transport.

  • Buffaloes, animals as strong as they are docile, can move and pull heavy loads in marshy areas as well as cities.

Air access to the Alkeb Kingdom is exclusively reserved for South African airlines , the only ones authorized to land in the territory. Thus, any arrival by air must transit through South Africa or Brazil.

Economy and geopolitics

The second economic power of the Alkeb Kingdom after Alkebula, Órelota is a strategic crossroads between the human and Alkeb countries and plays a key role in trade, notably with:

  • South Africa (historical partner)

  • Brazil , with which informal agreements allow the import of resources such as silver and iridium, necessary for the manufacture of argentium alkeb,

It should be noted that the Alkeb International Monetary Fund (IMF) , created under the impetus of the new Guide, acts as an insurance mechanism for the Alkeb diaspora abroad.

Technology and innovation

Since the 1960s, Órelota has experienced a remarkable boom in the technological field, largely thanks to sustained investment in education, driven by YA Omãe Ogun , the territory's guide still in office today. This dynamic has also been made possible by close collaboration with several influential human families from Kagatonde , notably the Baudet and Sapinet families.

Among the pillars of this transformation is the multinational company Focal Blue , founded in 1834 by the Ogun clan . It is the originator of the famous augmented reality glasses of the same name. Taken over in 2002 by Florentin Sapinet , the company has established itself as a world leader in the immersive technology sector.

A subsidiary of Focal Blue, located in Jansãlota , specializes in the manufacture of Colar , a device in the form of a collar designed to inhibit the shimmering phenomenon specific to Alkebs. This device is particularly used in prison environments. This branch is managed by the brothers Stéphane and Roland Baudet , two Kagapian entrepreneurs of human origin.

Education and institutions

Órelota hosts four of the nine official academies of the Alkeb Kingdom , making the territory one of the main training centers of the RA. Under the impetus of the new government led by Guide YA Omãe , a gradual opening to the outside world has been initiated, particularly in the field of university-level education.

Since this reform, two academies located in Sãnalota are now accessible to human students from outside the Kingdom . Each year, a draw is held among thousands of international applications, allowing 50 students to obtain a special student visa to attend one of these institutions.

These two academies are now ranked among the top 25 schools in the world in the following areas:

  • Studies in anthropology and archaeology

  • Engineering & Mathematics
